Sugar Rush

Review-
The movie started a bit slow as they tried to build the story. The amateur acting was a bit obvious in the beginning stages as well especially from the 3 sisters, even from the most experienced names.
There was a lot to criticise in the story too until the movie got to the late twenty-something minutes before it began to pick up and make more sense. The acting also seemed to get better but no one was particularly prolific. The comedy scenes made the not-so-prolific acting seem inconsequential though.
Some scenes also dragged on unnecessarily but because of the humour bits it was okay to watch. Also nothing phenomenal about the costuming, it was not a movie that demanded too much of that.

Star Performer-
William Uchemba- along with Bimbo Ademoye were the funniest of the cast. Their scenes were responsible for most of the humour burst the audience had. William just about pips her to it.

Can-do-better Performer-
Bisola Aiyeola- I know, I know her fans think she’s great but it often felt like she was forcing the character. Some of her scenes didn’t seem natural enough, a bit too dramatic sometimes. She’ll definitely get better if she keeps acting challenging roles.

Final verdict- There’s room for improvement but they put up a great show.
