DIFFERENT STROKES
1. A nice movie with lessons for married couples.
2. A nice cast.
3. Good locations and costume.
1. Plot almost draggy at some point.
A good watch.
WHY MOSUN FILANI-ODUOYE’S DIFFERENT STROKES DRIVES A TIMELY MESSAGE FOR MARRIED COUPLES.

The social media age; an age unfortunately riddled with the fake life syndrome, Different Strokes tells a story around the mishaps of believing everything seen on the gram.
The movie is about four friends with one goal; A Happy Marriage, but achieving it will take more than just having a common goal.
Just like the name, Different Strokes hits on the impossibility of having all things in life sorted out. One man’s meat as it is said is another’s poison. Different Strokes shines a light on how imperfect couples in marriages could be and how wishing to be like others could as well land them in serious trouble. All that glitters is not gold and the plot of the movie tells just that. From deceit to betrayal, emotional trauma and much more, each scene takes us through a sequence of drama.
The story is quite straightforward, we are clear on the trajectory from the third scene.

Although the story is not unique, and each scene in sequence was almost quite predictable, the seasoned actors made that forgivable.
The delivery was top-notch. You can’t take away excellent role interpretations from veteran actors, they know their onions even when presented with an almost nearly boring script.
Mercy Johnson, Jim Iyke and Lillian Esoro brought their best game on, likewise others.
The sound and locations are on point too.
