BAD COMMENTS
1. The Plot is timely and contemporary. It scores high in revealing the activities and havoc caused by social media trolls.
2.The production was good, the setting and locations were nicely chosen.Nice HD filming also
3. Nollywood continues in its adding of celebrities from outside the industry in guest appearances, this is beautifying the Entertainment industry more.
1. Not much, however a scene in the movie which had Frank Orji's employees/house helps confronting him on an accusation the way they did seemed a little unreal, workers don't confront their bosses that way unless they intend leaving, their facial expressions after they were laid off showed the scene wasn't properly done.
A great movie to see, you'll be entertained.
“Bad Comments” is a movie which tells the story of the downturn of a fast-rising Nollywood actor Frank Orji due to a social media propaganda circulated by online trolls, this devastating effect would however lead him on a revenge mission where he plots on finding every single one of the trolls who had a part to play in his downfall which then leads him to series of heart wrenching discoveries.
Bad Comments is a fast-paced fusion of drama and thriller, with a blend of momentary comedic reliefs. Inspired by true-life events, it does well to mirror the life of celebrities and how their careers can be at the mercy of propaganda circulated by social media trolls.
A Production debut for Nollywood Star Act, Jim Iyke, and Directed by Moses Inwang
The Plot which centres around the seeming havoc caused by online trolls and the effect they do have on the lives of celebrities might not have been better portrayed by any other than Jim Iyke who has had first hand experiences.
The Movie stars some of Nollywood big names ranging from Jim Iyke, Sharon Ooja, Osas Ighodaro, Chinwetalu Agu, Patience Ozokwor and boasts of other top celebrities as well as Timaya, Ruggedman, AY Makun, and some few others.
Star Act- Jim Iyke
He did well in delivering his role as expected of him. Ranging from emotions, theatrics, it was a class act.
Can-do-well Performer– None, they all did well. By the way, was that Davido’s hype man, Special Spesh? He did very well also!
