Top Nollywood Actors that have faded out

Growing up watching Nollywood movies, we have seen various actors rise into stardom and have fallen in love with their on-screen presence. With this, it is only natural to expect to see them in recent years but it seems that these actors and actresses have just faded out of existence.
Although very few of them have gotten some roles in recent times, it still seems as though they have lost something important. What we thought was there when they started out and what we believed could have kept them in the spotlight seemed to have faded as the years have gone by.
Would we love for them to grace our screens once again? Maybe. The truth is that the industry has evolved and so has the tastes of its viewers. If they can show us that their acting can evolve and become what is expected then we will be happy to see these faces many more times.

Though he faded out for some years, he has picked up one or two roles in recent times. These movies include; Three wise men (2016), The Bridge (2017), and Payday (2018), to name a few. Maybe, just maybe, he will be able to take that spotlight back.

We can all remember when Nollywood was drowning in Crime Drama. Whenever any crime drama was made, Ernest Asuzu was almost guaranteed a role in the movie as one of the criminals. He played his role so well that we were expecting him to be the poster face for Nollywood crimes.
He disappeared from the Industry when he decided to be a man of God. Would you still love to have him?

Hanks Anuku was just like Ernest Asuzu in Crime Dramas. All roles that had to do with kidnapping, bribery, blackmail, and corruption were almost specifically given to him and he did a wonderful job playing these characters.

The crime drama trio is complete with this actor. Just as Hanks Anuku and Ernest Asuzu, Ejike Asiegbu was also the poster bad boys for Nollywood.
