Every Millennial probably knows who Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) is. From the scary Diamond Ring, that left most of us shaking in our beds and having nightmares in the 90s, to the very popular Wedding Party (1 & 2), Richard Mofe-Damijo has been an household name for most of us.

- Chief Daddy:
RMD played the cool and calm lawyer of the deceased Chief and though you could argue that RMD wasn’t a very important character in this movie, he was the lawyer who called and arranged for all Chief’s children to be at his late client’s will reading. In this role, RMD could be described as the cool and calm lawyer under the pressure of his client’s boisterous family.

In this attempt at a crime-comedy drama, RMD played the role of the regular wealthy African dad with unserious children. We got the cool and collected actor and a caring dad who was worried about the success and seriousness of his children. - The Wedding Party (1 & 2):
RMD played the father of the grooms in The Wedding Party and its sequel, The Wedding party; Destination Dubai. In the movies, he was a supportive husband and father and a promiscuous husband. Though he had more screen times in the sequel, he gave an outstanding performance in a movie that shows what happens when an inter-tribal and inter-race marriage happens. He also shows the value of family and the effects of a father’s decision on his family.

- Love is War:
RMD was outspoken and inspiring in this movie. He portrayed family values, politics, profession, and love extensively in this movie. As the husband of an aspiring politician who felt like his wife had lost her way and an adoring father who was always there for his daughter, he showed the negative effects of politics in a marriage. He also showed the excesses and disagreements that arise from misunderstandings.

- The Perfect Picture:
A story that spans three friends and their lives, with each of them married, they are faced with the many troubles that come from being a spouse. RMD shows his acting prowess as a husband, like any other, capable of making mistakes. Though there were some technical issues, the movie covers life experiences, growing up, and imperfect relationships.

A movie that portrays the overwhelming adversities that happen in our different lives, struggles with faith, mental health, and overcoming adversities in general, God calling shows what could happen to anyone and how these adversities affect people they are in a relationship with. This TV show is one of the best of RMD. Linked to the Chief Daddy movie, RMD plays the lawyer seen in the movie and is in practice with his wife, played by Dakore Akande. From the clash in opinions and cases to money-related and familial problems, Castle & Castle is a must watch for every RMD fan.

Hush is a must watch for everyone.

This is one of the oldest movies that remain unforgettable in the minds of everyone. Released in 1998, the plot was of a diamond ring stolen from a dead woman. Though there was no rating for this movie, it seems almost unfair for it not to appear on this list. Starring RMD, Sola Sobowale, Gabriel Afolayan, and Kunle Remi as the main casts, this movie was a joy to watch as it shows us how quickly African parents can jump into conclusions, albeit a reasonable one with the evidence provided. RMD portrays the father of a child who got the best of everything and seemingly gets locked up in jail after committing some offences. Gold Statue shows the effects of a misbehaving child on a happy couple.
